That sucks guys sorry to hear that. The stock motor did last a long time!! Are you going to go stock again or build a new short block?:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Makes no sense to go with stock again if the issue has to do with the stock valve train etc. It will just blow sooner or later again. Fix what went with aftermarket stronger products.

Damn... I was rooting for the stock motor.... I am probably going to stay with my setup on the 250 for a long time. If/when it goes, then we will look into upping the ante on something stupid... unless I run across a smokin deal on a reg cab.....

I see what cracked piston and one with a little crack. I'm I missing anything? If thats all the damage thats not to bad considering whats it been thru.

I also lost 7 and scored 8. Im hoping the ported intake will help the issue on the rear cylinders.

Wow i was expecting rods without knowing anything on what went "boom". Time to lower the compression a tad and coat them, what else can you do to a stock piston, just cryo it?

How much more power do you think the 104mm added craig? And I hope you guys get it put back together soon.
