Think this belongs here. I'd like to get a CTS for my truck to monitor. I've never messed with one, but are they able to set defuels similar to a mini maxx? Also, do CTS pick up on the factory egt sensor on a 6.4? Also, if not , do other monitors (dash daq, infinity) offer this option?

I have one on my 6.4. It won't defuel anything but you can set it to warn you when temperatures get too hot. It does pick up the EGT as well.

Exactly. I plan on getting Gearhead tunes and will probably mess with myself later on

CTS will monitor most everything that most want to watch. The only two complaints I have about mine is you can't monitor TC Slip and the BP reading only goes up to 60psi. I monitor EGT, Oil Temp, Coolant Temp, Trans Temp, Boost, Back Pressure, Fuel Rail Pressure and Speed with mine.
