Its a pretty freak occurrence. Most likely a manufacturing defect from day 1.

:whs: With all the abuse these trucks take, it's almost a guarantee that the axle was defective. The scary part is imagining that happening while pulling a large load up a hill. That'd be enough ruin your week. Is Ford going to warranty the axle?

They said they would try but be cause if the "upgrades" they may not be able to, if they ask alot of questions. I said please try! I figured I would have to pay anyway.

Realistically it broke when abusing the truck... Ford really shouldn't have to pay...

However they should take more abuse than that...

Lol man. Thats exactly what my jeep buddy told me about the axle shaft. I was running a big tune though, kem level 5. The truck has been pulling to the left like that, just not nearly as bad. Im begining to think It was starting to go anyway.

IS your Axle shaft made out of soft rubber? Metal breaks it breaks, there is no "spongy" feel like its "starting to go".
