It looks tight to me..

Seriously, check and make sure the VGT solenoid didn't come un plugged. Mine broke at the little connector and I had to rubber band it.

The PCM has no way of monitoring actualy VGT position, that % is just the duty cycle that the PCM is commanding the VGT to be at, it doesnt know if it is actually operating at that duty cycle.

OK. So what is the for sure way of testing the vgt sensor? And would the vgt sensor cause a no boost issue?

If your VGT solenoid wasnt getting power from the PCM it would default to fully open, which would end you up with little/no boost. Physically check the connection at the VGT solenoid and make sure it hasnt come unplugged

I recently installed a IPR remote oil cooler kit and was towing a car today and I then lost all power. I had bully dog on full power.

So turbo spins freely and spools up very little. No boost on gauge. When I unplug the vgt sensor it stops. I'm guessing its the turbo.

If your turbo was screwed it would smoke or make a lot of noise. Pull your Vgt solenoid and check the end of it. I've seen them wear a groove in the end of the Vgt solenoid and cause boost issues

That is a good possibility that they are sticking. But pulling the VGT solenoid is a 5 minute job just to check and make sure the solenoid isnt stuck or the tip isnt worn

Installed new vgt nothing. Well I'm pulling the turbo now. I'll let ya know what happens.

Could the braided line for the oil feed be bad causing a restriction and not allowing fluid in to top of turbo?

I'm guessing this is a stupid question since no one else asked, but did you check all your boot conmections and the intercooler?

Thinking the veins are stuck open. No boost on the gauge and high exhaust temps while driving. I don't really know at this point.
All boots are good map sensor is pluged in/also the vacuum line to map sensor.
Thanks for help tho.
