check

Do you have any DTCS? is there a code P2263? and if you check PIDS EBP signal is within 1.5 psi of the BARO or 0.15 its good

At WOT what is EBP pids?? if it's not at 45,50psi then there would be an Y-pipe or exhaust leak. Leaking y-pipe are very common. And by any chance when u pulled the VGT actuator out,did you try to manually move the vanes using a magnet? it will move freely.then you could rule out sticking vanes.

And the VGT actuator uses signals from the PCM to determine the fin locations.it relies on standard engine oil pressure and NOT High Pressure.

Its all great information.

But no boost?

Would the unison ring wide open cause a no boost issue?

I'm gonna hook computer up and see all the other details I skipped over.

Pretty black and rusty. Was kinda tough to turn at first then just fine.

Don't know if this was the cause but I'm gonna clean up anyways.

GREAT JOB!!!

:clapping: Glad you found the problem! and yes open vanes is seen at high rpm's so there would be no exhaust restriction,at idle and light throttle there would be small gaps this build velocity of gasses when they meet the impeller. In turn increasing wheel speed=Boost. I seen a code for the FICM??
