EGT install fail

I popped the hood on my friends truck to see why his boost gauge wasn't working. The guy that did this install also had his injectors out so I wonder how that's gonna work out long term.

Was the thermocouple wired to the boost gauge?! I hope not and the previous owner was using it to monitor post intercooler temps for something.

I was just making sure the added inpedance from the flux capacitor wasn't hurting performance when I reversed the engine to back up.

So how cool did it read LOL I am with Dennis I really hope this was just a DIY guy helping and not a real mechanic. I think I would be pulling all my injectors and reinstalling them and making sure all the bolts were tq and the wires were all hooked back up. Sounds like the kind of guy that would forget to install half the glow plugs and wonder why it ran like crap. LOL
