Find anyone familiar with the DT466 and you will be golden. They are basically a smaller 466. I read up about them a while back and loved everything I read. Always wanted to put one in an older Super Duty with a manual transmission. They can take everything a B series Cummins can take and a whole lot more!

That's what everyone says. I have heard anything from 150psi-300psi of boost with stock head bolts and gasket just torqued over spec. Plan to call hypermax and scheids. But if someone had a recommendation I was going to go that route.

Hood fenders bumper header panel, running boards all removed

Did some planning looks like I need about 140 hrs to complete the work on the truck. Think I am going flatbed and single wheel. Looking at airbag it suspension setup. Kind of liking that idea

Found a good 180 hp p7100 pump shipped for 550. Think I'm going to jump on it. Hopefully the adapter will not eat my lunch. Messaged castners and hypermax waiting on a reply.

Ordered some suspension upgrades and some 2007 Kodiak c4500 parts I hope that fit this 08 f250 transfer case. Going to buy a sheet of 3/16 or 1/4" plate to build mounts out of.
It snowed 8" Friday and was 53 here today. Got to love ky weather.

Pump adapter is cheap compared to what I thought it would be.

I may make it up there only a couple hour drive for me. I don't know if I'm going to turn it up much right off the bat. The wheels and tires are jacking my budget on this thing I need 37" to get my gear ratio where I want it but your talking 500$ a tire and I just hate spending that kind of coin on tires. If some of my 6.4 parts would sell it would be a non issue but right now it seems there's no money In the market for used parts.

Well the only shop to even talk to me is scheids, many others answered said let me give your name and number to soandso they will call you and nothing. Not one response from emails. Looks like I know who is getting my business.

Called carson stauffer diesel today. Gave me lots of good information and was more than willing to answer any of my questions.
Current plan is to have my 4hole .015 injectors, p7100 pump, and a Carson stauffer adapter and hub.

May run some 40# additional seat pressure valve springs

It almost looks like your wife is giving it that "are you serious?" look. Lol! Cute kid, btw. This is definitely going to be a sweet build. I like the fact that you are doing a 450 too. That way you can legally tow more too. If I was going to do one, that would be what I would put it in too. It just seems like such a waste to build something so stout and put it in a 250. I forget, what are you going to be using the truck for?

Yes I am getting the u bought this look. It's going to be a Daily driver. But I buy and sell/ mechanic quite a bit so I end up towing a trailer heavy twice a month sometimes more often. I'm wanting to upgrade to a 35-40' gooseneck, but a house and land just came on the market in the perfect location for us so we might be buying it.
