Fuel additives...what's your poison?

I use the grey bottles of Power Service, 1/2 a bottle in each tank.
What's everyone else using and what, if any, benefits have you seen?

You must have a big tank.....Seems like I remember the bottle calling for 8 oz per 24 gallons (or something close to that). The bottle, I believe, is a 32 oz bottle so if you're using 16 oz per tank you either have a 50 gallon tank or maybe putting too much.....??

I use the Power Service grey bottle also (but I'm deployed right now and can't remember exact numbers)....

Most people over dope their diesel fuel.

Yea...1/2 a bottle at a time is easier and won't hurt anything. I get the stuff for nothing so that helps too. LOL

I'm a bit of a mad scientist with my mix. I have my 350L slip tank in the back and I add one full bottle of Amsoil cetane boost to that (good for 330L) and the appropriate amount of Howe's conditioner and voila, I have fuel for a week or so...

Yep. My time is worth more to me than jacking around with stuff like that. I have buddies that recoil in horror when i dump half a bottle of white in my worktruck "thats enough for 60 gallons!" I roll my eyes. I owned an 07 lbz and put the additives in to the letter according to the directions and it gelled up. Finally i started dumping half of a small bottle in and never looked back. Cheap insurance.
