Fuel Sump Question

I have seen many sumps on many different trucks including mine. I would not hesitate in installing another sump. I think it works well on a DD. But what do I know

I installed a 5/8" draw straw in my old truck which worked great other than the -1/4 tank of fuel issue that popped up ever once in a while.
