.some like pillars, some dont. I personally like digital..some are gauge freaks and have digital and pillar gauges and pod gauges all on the steering wheel and everywhere else!..The only reason why i prefer digital is that you arent so limited to just 3 gauges for one, can read and clear DTCs number two and theyre a bit more detailed than pillars.

I like my Danins. They are no longer available anymore though but some pop up here and there. I have trans temp, boost, pyro, and coolant. I really like having the coolant when towing and it comes in handy when towing with a tune. I have mine mounted on the A pillar.

Hey I have EGT, 0-60 BOOST, trans temp, and fuel pressure gauges from glow shift. The 7 color gauges. Never installed with a 4 pod a pillar, and the pillar that goes above the rear view. The rear view pod was for a 3rd gen cummins but fits perfect in my 08, should fit yours as well. All of this has never been used, and im about 97% sure every thing is there. Because im not 100% sure, I will let all of this go for 250.00. They are black faced gauges, and both the pods are black. Pics if ya want em. Im selling to help fund my spartan purchase.

Scangauge can read and clear dtcs along with displaying anything the pcm sees. It can also do buzz tests and cylinder contribution tests.

Pm me for more info and pricing.

EV-2 or Performax. Best gauge on the market.

You have to read a digital gauge. That takes your eyes off the road.

Your brain can tell what a analog gauge is just out of your peripheral vision.

Digital gauges are an all in one set up, that means if something goes wrong you are out all your gauges.

Like I said brand new never installed gauges and pods. Pillar is for a 99-07 and the over head pod is for a Dodge, but matched up on my 08 no problem. Shouldn't be an issue on the 99-07 either.

"you have to read a digital gauge and that takes youre eyes off the road" so you say LOL LOL ... bud you got gauges all over the place! LOL I cant see how all of youre setup is easier to read while keeping youre eyes on the road ..I can monitor all of that on my digital screen...and if something goes wrong, the indicator light flashes for my peripheral vision..not to mention i can set my digital layout to look like analogs..i cant see how all of that is even necessary LOL :poke:

I know right. I wish I could have his job lol.

I have 7 gauges

bottom to top on A-pillar:Boost, EGT, Oil temp, Oil pressure

Left to right on dash: Fuel Pressure, Coolant temp, Voltage

BTW, the bottom 2 on the pillar use to be EV-2, but I couldn't get it to work right and got a deal on Glowshift (I wish I had money for all ISSPRO)

Its not necessary. As I said, I test for Isspro. The limit of the system was 17 gauges, testing in the lab gives you some information, but a 100k+ of testing in the real world opens up different issues.

And what happens if your little digital screen gets a short. blink. No gauges.

If your OBD port blows a fuse... no gauges...

PCM goes dead... No gauges...

Nice quick easy to sell theft object...

Analog gauges are better in every respect.
