I'm still in the mock up fabrication stage of the build. Since I don't have access to a lift or a mock up engine to fab custom up pipes I had to modify a set of RCD 6.4 up pipes to fit the Garrett turbo. I just ordered two more bellows to fit the 50mm waste gate that feeds the 82mm and then I will be able to pull the up pipes and the rest of the top end apart. Doing all this work cab on has really tested my patience. I have found that beer and alcohol do wonders for raising my patience level. As far as the oil filter goes it will most likely be staying stock as I am more of a function over form type guy.

I'm not talking about the factory filter, but rather that its not a motor craft filter and lid.

Ohh I see what your talking about. My shop has a deal with Wix so that is what I run. I have been running their filters on it since I bought it in 2010. I made a deal with my rep that if I run into issues running their filters that they would take care of it or lose my business.

That's quite a deal

hmmm-i would rethink that. i have heard that the taller cap doesnt utilize the factory bypass or drainback properly.

Tight radius 90's are much nicer. Thanks Shane (White_monster).

Vibrant's u-bend with a 5" radius and center cut.

Woolf aircraft products tight radius 90's which have a 3" radius. Much much better!!!

I modified the hot side pipe to work. I have a No Limit piece but I didn't want to hack up something so nice. So it will be for sale later.

What do you guys think about using the old fuel cooler coolant system for the water cooling of the turbos? How is the pump controlled is it on a thermostat or is it constant?

Yea. You could throw a temp gauge on the system and just hard wire the pump. It's just a simple 12 volt pump.

If you don't plan on using our fuel temp sensor you could probably put it in the system, then have your tuner use the temp sensor to turn the pump on and off. But I'd imagine that the coolant for the turbos should be constantly circulating.

I guess I will just hardwire it to the ignition so when the key is on the pump will be on.

Tie into the main cooling system through the egr plugs.

Do you think that would work better than a stand alone system? Then again if I tied into the main system I could use the fuel cooler heat exchanger to cool the fuel directly.

this is what we use for the turbos.

Dont know if you are interested or not but our ccv will clear that turbo also.

I'm interested in both those items. If you want go ahead and shoot me a quote on both.

Both of your builds(white monster and johnny dime) are just frigging awesome! I think I need to do what you guys do for a living! I hope to one day have a truck of a caliber even close to either one of yours! Great job guys!

I wouldn't say that I am the same caliber as Shane. From what I can see that man is an artist. Hell Shane is the one who said a GT4088R would make a great HP turbo and basicly started this whole thing. If it would not have been for him I would be just another guy with High Powers.
