Yes he does have a bedplate I think the block is 3/4 filled, but it made 1800hp on 2 turbos, now it has 3.

And Cale Thompson split a block in half from the valley down, with a girdle and block fill, IIRC.

Either way, stock block is a weak point. Crank is not.
