whats wrong with 24k rail? Also, if you are going to do the turbo swap, do it at the same time. You will literally have to remove most of the same parts to do it.
text me when your diving in...its a simple job.
Open hood, remove fan shroud, remove fan (if you can get the clearance, just unbolt the blade from the hub so you dont have to mess with the big nut), remove air intake, remove upper plastic intake, undo cold side pipe, undo egr feed tube, undo ccv hose, remove lower aluminum intake (be sure to tape all open ports).
remove vacuum pump from front cover, remove large nut holding the hpfp gear on.
from the valley of the engine, remove the fuel lines from the top of the pump, remove the two bolts that hold the pump in (they point towards the front of the truck). Undo the electrical connector. Tap the shaft of the pump from the front of the engine with a hammer-the gear should pop off. Remove the now loose pump.
To reinstall, reverse the procedure. Only thing to be careful about is timing the new pump correctly. Also, the two pressure lines you undid from the pump need to be replaced as they are one time use. Return lines are fine to reuse.
I can send you some pics if that would help...
