Iluminated f-250-f-350 by recon

I just ordered sum white iluminated f-350 emblems. Post up pics to see them cant wait till they arrive.

I did the amber illumination, a woman I work with did the white ones and they're so bright, they make mine look dim.

And here's a pic of the light output on a wall 3' away.

Is there any way to tone them down? I passed a truck the other night with them and damn near blinded myself looking at them.

How are these wired up? They look cool but you can hardly make out what it is from further away.

just put a resister in the power in wire, when you by them get a hand full. it will take a few of them to get the right brightness.
i was also looking at a set. how is the quality of them. do they fit like the stock units

i cant believe people are still buying recon crap. I have personally seen two of these break in person. One was on a superduty where it popped off and was just hanging by the wire, the other was on a raptor that stopped working bc of moisture. Do your research please.

I will say this, I had one that did have moisture in it after about 2 months, but they warrantied it out with no problem. So, so far they've done me right.

You can tap them into your running lights, that would be the easiest option, but I decided to run them off of one of my up fitter switches, so I could turn them off if I wanted to.

I ran mine off of a switch but wish I would have tied them into the running lights. I may still do that, just haven't had the time. As far as the quality of the lights themselves, they are not bad, but with that being said I do feel that they are over priced for what you get. I do however really like the lights and have had zero issues with them.
