New from SC - Exhaust Question

Just got on this site and have an exhaust question. I am looking to install either a 4" turbo back diamond eye or MBRP. I want the exhaust to sound good/deep when I step on it but do not want it to be overbearing as I use my truck for work meeting often. Do I need to keep a CAT or will either the MBRP/Diamond Eye muffler suffice?

You don't need a cat, delete the cat and get lower egt's. I have a 4 inch banks exhaust with a cat delete and it's not super loud so it's probably just what your looking for

Open exhaust won't be loud when you don't want it to be.

In my experience mbrp has been an easier Install than diamond eye has.

i suggest MBRP as well, and just run a muffler and it will be perfect for what your looking for.

I don't doubt that. But of the 2 he listed the mbrp will be the best fit
