well an update on this truck....its running driving, brought it to work this morning. Truck is for sale, and can not wait to get it out of my life....

Did you ever tear the bottom end apart or just swap it with a short block?

haven't yet, I have it sitting on the stand but haven't had a chance to take it apart yet.
