Thanks guys I appreciate it.

Old plow truck was an '89
Currant plow truck is a '96. Those are old pics, but the body's not to bad for no better care than I think it got from the previous owner.

Here's how it looks now.

I'm happy about it, girlfriend loves it. Ordered smoked tails for it tonight, smoke halo fogs and heads next month probably. And hopefully some black wheels and a billet grill with some offroad lights behind it as well soon. Let the mods begin :evil

This was my most recent heavy pull: 2003 F-450 box truck.

Pretty heavy, and I had to pull it through alot of hills, but my truck pulled it great.

I believe its legal in IN to pull two trailers if the first is a gooseneck/fifthwheel and the second is a bumper pull. Two bumper pulls is definately illegal there.

Is it legal to tow 2 trailers like that? I only ask cuz where Im from (Indiana) Ive never seen that. Nice pics Lawnranger

I believe its legal in IN to pull two trailers if the first is a gooseneck/fifthwheel and the second is a bumper pull. Two bumper pulls is definately illegal there.

According to these sites it IS , legal to triple tow in IN. and the first trailer doesn't need to be a GN or a 5er. But from looking at some other sites, it would be best to check the state DMV website before doing it in any state.

thought I'd bring this thread back up

my new tow rig, 140,000miles, DMI rear bumper, swamps 200cc 30% injectors (I think, they were in it when I bought it) h2e, a hypermax intercooler, and head studs

I gave 4000 for the truck originally. the guy I bought it from thought the transmission was going out but I replaced the ipr on the engine and got it running better and haven't had any issues with the trans yet. it had a set of 35in tires and aftermarket wheels on it, so I sold those and got enough money for a new set of 285/75 16 firestone destination mt's that I put on a set of factory wheels I had laying around. the bed was beat up and rusted out, but I found a rust free one for 200. I do a lot of paint and body work on the side so I repainted the new bed my self for about $100 in materials. then it was just a matter rebuilding the front end and a couple other odds and ends.

still needs a little work, it needs a new front bumper and the left front fender has some rust, but not too bad for only having about $5,500 invested in it total :D

I saved all the parts out of my old wrecked tow rig to swap in a 5 speed so that is going to be my winter project
at some point I'd like to make it a dually but that might have to weight a while
