Overheating issue

I'm running a 6.0 fan also and a Mishimoto rad. There really isn't another fan clutch available except for the Hayden. My Ford guy said the OEM is obsolete and the ones I found online were going for $350.

What's wrong with the E-clutch?

I found the motorcraft unit on Rock auto for $232.00

I just got a 6.0 fan but haven't installed it yet along with a mishimoto rad that's been in for a while,

I don't tow heavy very often at all so I don't see a need for the E fan. That money could be spent else where.
