My hybrids are quieter than my stock stix. I also added a reg return with the hybrids though.

The spill port is an opening on the fuel portion of the injector body. This allows the leftover fuel pressure/icp in the barrel to spill back into the feed rail. When you plug this port, the fuel no longer exits and stays in the barrel. The reasoning behind the lopey idle and high rpm when letting off the throttle.

Man I dont miss that, LOL

Thats what I figured. Im looking at diagrams and I'm not even sure how you'd even be able to weld it? Theres not way I could even think about getting in there and even attempting it.

You cant see it unless you disassemble the injector. I mean sure, you can weld it, if you want to warp the injector body LOL

Ive seen people press in ball bearings, that usually doesnt end well!

I got six sets of welded plungers on the shelf from other builders, all been replaced.

Ball bearing is hard steel will distort the barrel.

From my smart car.

What exactly is a spill port and why do they need to be welded after you exceed 190cc?

I am wondering about the second part of that question. Is it in fact true that spill ports NEED to be plugged once the injectors get over a certain size, or is that a myth?
