The last 2-3 weeks my truck has started sputtering around 2k. Starts and idles fine even stone cold with temps in the 30's. Sputtering gets better the longer it warns up. After an hour or 2 it is still there but not nearly as bad. When it first started happening I would power through it and it seems to kind of clear up. Just did an oil change tonite. Rotella 5w40 sun and going to pick up rev x tomorrow. Any ideas? Spool valve sticking?

Scan it and see what codes you have. If it has a cylinder contribution code then most likely it is an injector.

I just added rev x and it seems to run so much better. I'm going to check the FICM voltage when I get home and probably take it in to get scanned next week.

I haven't checked fuel pressure yet. I have a mechanical auto meter sitting in my shop in the box. Goes 0-100 psi. Where should I tie into to check?
