So this dealer believes in throwing all parts on floor and tables and neatness are not possible?
Not photo worthy on the cluster f of parts.
The bent rods we have seen on a hot shot pulling a load before he said it went boom.
A nice window was installed in the block

They just throw all the parts on the floor like that?

Trucks I worked on got a canvas tarp in the bed and parts in there. Cab offs were different. Had boards made up to lay across the frame. Power washed box out when done.

I prefer a bed mat to lay over the chasis during cab offs
But I like what your doing with the box

Something went very wrong with that motor. I would not say that all 6.7s are at risk of that happening.

Any updates on this? Does Ford have any real answers? Or are they just assuming things and obviously putting a new motor in, but I would want to get to the bottom of it to see what caused all rods to go at once.

It doesn't specifically state the failure as most bulletins do, but typically in an all Rods bent situation I have seen either fluid ingestion or excessive boost or a combo of both.

Is the wider spray pattern a norm on these engines due to the pre-injections?

I've wondered that myself. Everyone says they drive like gas trucks with power way down low, I assumed the timing was pretty crazy... I wonder if that spray pattern is normal too...hmmm

Thats rough! Hopefully this doesn't become very common since some of these are starting to get some miles on them.
