I'm not really familiar with all the classes in professional racing, but is this guy going to be competition for deranged? I mean, I would assume not.

Is there a weight limit for pro stock?

Bed mounts look good. I did a pulling truck like that a few years back, but I built a sub frame to hold the bed sides and tailgate and that mounted on the frame. Also had a sheet metal bed cover to enclose it as that was required by organization rules.

I like your way!!

Only reason we did it the way we did was because it was required by rules.

Definitely lighter the way you did it.

Ya I guess that weight really doesn't matter. I don't see anyone spending the money to get a diesel drag car that light. LOL

Hey Matt is super street class pure heads up or is it based on a dial?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the only difference "safety wise" from 11.90 index and 10.90 index would be a roll bar?

I'm trying to figure this out for my build thanks.

Truck is looking great! :ford:

Thanks Matt! Realistically I would like to be in the 10.90 dial class, if it all pans out. I haven't drag raced since high school so I'm a little out of the game haha...

I guess it's time for you to come to AZ Swinky :ford:

I'll make sure to have a few nitrous tanks filled and ready for you hahaha :morons:

But first I might have to road trip to OK to get Matt to build me a cage, because that thing looks purtty! :tree:

Building a super streeet truck for Down and Dirty Diesel. We gutted the entire interior and removed the bed sides. Then I started on a chrome moly 8.5 cert cage so save weight. Going to build a framework to hold the bed sides. all the glass is being removed in favor of lexan.

Engine will have warren hybrids with his twin pump. Built motor and bts 4r.

We are building compounds for it right now it's looking like s467 fmw and s591 with water to air intercooler.

I'll post more pictures when I get to a computer.

Its gonna be slow.....Oh Wait. Never Mind lol

I love seeing custom cage installs. Takes me back to Jeep 4x4 days
