All of this talk on here of bigger nozzles is making me wish I had gone with a 30% or 80% nozzle on my 160s.

I'm really happy with my 160/30's, its a great all around injector for a mostly stock truck. As soon as I get rid of the factory turbo and get a little more air, I'll be even happier taking full advantage of the injectors.

Take some time and read the info on the swamps site as it explains labeling.

The 175/146 is what many call a Stage I injector. Its a 175cc stock nozzle injector

The Unlimited is a 30% over stock flow nozzle.

You need to be comparing the Swamps 175 /30% (use to be called the 175/173) to Unlimited's 30% A code.

Personally I think the 30% is an ideal nozzle for the A code. After that I think the hybrid design offers to many benefits with larger nozzles.

I have not run a 30% A code but have been in a few trucks that had them. Its a very nice mild street towing setup. will break 400 HP will matching air. IMO its a set it and forget injector/plug and play however you want to look at it. With some decent tunes they just work.

I have experience with a hybrid with a 30% nozzle and i can say i get absolutely great mileage for a ccsb with a 2.5 leveler and 1 ton block. I also cant get above ~1100* in my lower tune which is a pretty strong tune. Probably about a 300hp tune. My upper tunes even take some time to get the egts up there

How much hp can you squeeze out of the 175/30s?

I believe upper 300's

I have seen over 300 HP on a towing tune that won't break 1100 unloaded. Truck also made 375 with very little or no smoke on a stock turbo on a street performance tune. This is with an srp1 though and was holding full pressure of 2900.

I'm just giving you a hard time lol I would guess around 375 idk if 400 is possible. I'm running 160/30 with an s366 egts are no problem I'm running around 39psi for boost when I talked with my tuner he seems to think when I'm done with all the supporting mods i will be right at 400 but I'm not sure yet

I'm saying after I have the air to match it. I'm thinking a 38r, not trying to go crazy with it. I'd like to make 400 or so to keep my power to weight ratio like a 500 hp 8k pickup.

Idk what turbo/ hpop he's runnin but if its decent stuff 400 shouldn't be too hard with s 175/30

I'm running a ad pump and my stock e99 turbo for now... I'm hopefully planning on adding the air to match one of these days.

Very interesting! thanks for your input!

Which or the two would be the more "efficient" choice considering it's hard to say what condition my hpop might be in?
How would you expect egt's be with either vs stock?

A 238/80 injector would my starting injector if you want to move up the power later. It can do everything a stage 1 injector can do.

I wanted to go with hybrids, just couldn't pass up the deal on these 175s. I think ill be happy with them. My truck doesn't weigh much so it should move pretty well.... I hope.

I like mine wish I would have done hybrids but I didn't have the dollar. But you also don't need all the supporting mods to runn them
