Hey guys new here. I just recently got my very first diesel pickup about a month ago. It's a 1997 f250 7.3l powerstroke turbo diesel extended cab, long box with an automatic transmission along with 4wd. Only has 175k miles on the clock. I have always been wanting a truck like this since I was 12 and 5 years later, the dream came true. Throughout the years of research and looking for the right truck, it came to conclusion that I was going for a 7.3l powerstroke. Good ol' reliable trucks that can make ridiculous amount of torque if modified right. Everybody was going for the cummins, but I wanted something different, plus I have always been a ford fan and grew up in one.
I have a few mods done to the truck. K&N cold air intake (which I'm not too impressed with it's performance, even after cleaning it) eventually gonna replace it with a S&B or Tymer performance air intake system. It also has a straight piped exhaust with a turn down exhaust tip. For exterior wise, it's got a custom fully built front bumper that was made in town. Bumper is rated to hit a deer at 65 mph without a single dent! The rear bumper is also aftermarket and it is rated to tow 10,000 pds. In the bed has a gooseneck ball. I have always wanted to go crazy on this truck and the goal is to reach around 500-600 HP, but I'm in no rush of building this truck. I want to do a slow process on this truck. I'll get a few pictures up to show what the truck looks like. I'm open for ideas and hints for the truck for I'm new to the diesel world. I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
