id rather just pull the cab and do it in the frame personaly, ive done both ways and like cab off/in frame

Im putting my studs,springs,push rods,gen3,injectors in and building my tranny. I've had all the parts just no time to do it.

The issue is taking off a cab is only an easy option for those that have access to a lift. That eliminates about 90% of those that work on their trucks. Regardless for me pulling the cab is a MUCH larger job when its an Excursion. I do want to pull it one day though to clean up the frame and undercarriage and get a good coat sprayed on it.

not hard at all just like a 6.0 with a couple little things that are different. The first time doing it it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Once you get it down it's very easy.

Good to know. I need to do upp pipes, change an exhaust manifold, And do studs. I'm considering doin it this way.

This, i have access to a lift that is tall enough. Be soooooo much easier to do all the turbo **** if i could just pop the cab up one afternoon.
