On my 2011 dually , stock power level, when I tow the gooseneck I get what I think is axle wrap. I think that's what I feel anyway? Why would It wrap up with the gooseneck loaded and it was never noticeable with the bumper pull? Will trac bars fix this ? It's always right from a dead stop that it does it.

Any suggestions on length or style ? I'm just curios why it shows up with that trailer more than ever.

OUO's are the best, hit up Jared @ RCD for pricing.

more torque is exerted under load so it is more noticeable when towing.

lol thanks , I'm aware of the basic idea that more torque is exerted under load, I just meant why all the sudden with the new gooseneck is it so noticeable. And when it shifts it's like you feel it through the whole truck. Maybe it's just me not being used to one and how it loads the truck differently ?

sorry-i wasnt trying to be a smartass lol

what is the weight difference you are trying to pull? on the 2013 we had it wasnt as extreme with the empty trailer (3k) but with an additional 8k on the trailer it was terrible

:stupid: Jared will get you hooked up with everything you need. My OUO traction blocks really helped out with my shifts pulling my GN with heavy loads. My trailer is typically 15-26K when loaded.

No worries LOL I didn't really think you were after I thought about it. Empty it's not bad it's just loaded. It's the same loads I was towing with the bumper pull float I have. Probably 15k plus or minus a little trailer included.

One Up Offroad Direct Bolt On Adjustable bars are unreal.

275.00 Mounts, 610 Short Gusset Bars. Shipping To you.

I Have them in stock.

Cleanest install POSSIBLE on a 2011+ truck, and you can adjust them if you ever change the height.

Ran it on my 2011 truck that's down by Shone now a days, clean as hell!

Jared

EDIT: Thanks for all the kind words guys, means a lot to me!

OUO traction bars help tremendously on my dads 2011 especially when towing. You will love them.

That link has a few good photos of how these mount to the axle/frame and shows the center coupler design.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Look forward to your business!

My 08 F-450 has them and they were one of my favorite mods still to date. Helped a ton with towing heavy.

There's really no design better than the other. All our designs function perfectly. Im a HUGE fan of traction blocks, but on a 11+ truck, or an 08-10 F450, our under axle mounts are literally the simplest modification you can do to the truck. Simply unbolt your u bolts, swap the bottom plate. Tighten and torque, install bars. Voila, simple, effective, and able to grow with the truck or shrink (ride height wise)

You cant beat the design, or the fitment and finish!

With that being said. I sell a TON of weld on bars and traction blocks. Most Pre 11 trucks where guys want a cheap set of perfectly functioning traction bars, the weld on sells.

You buy short gusset weld on traction bars at 695 + Freight, so the pricing is hard to beat, especially given the adjustability of ride height.

Not the best pics but it gives you an idea how the bolt on bars look.
