That looks awesome. I wish my u bolts were upside down on my 2001. Haha!

How much strength difference between the short and long gusset?

Ive never seen either style fail, its mostly for aesthetics.

So lets talk about U bolts down..

We have an "F Top" Style Top Plate that replaces the factory one, you get a set of oval top u bolts, new bottom plate, and BOOM. You have 2011 Style

134 - 148 Oval 3/4" U Bolts
84 - F Top Plate

I really like the bottom mount set that Java posted pics of. Looks like the best thing going.

It was a serious question , you have been referring to ouo products as yours , did the company get bought by you guys ?

No Mike, they didn't. The difference is we are an actual STOCKING WAREHOUSE for Dave's Parts, with over 10,000 worth of bars/mounting kits in stock. To my knowledge, the only one in the United States at that.

What I do find odd is that someone whose been hooked up on a couple sets of these bars by Dave is more interested in taking a literacy shot at me than giving a personal experience of them. Especially since this EXACT set up is on your Green Truck? Care to share your experience? I think thats what the OP was after..

Pipe down. I have been noticing you keep using "our" when referring to ouo. It wasn't a literacy shot at all, it was a possessive shot. As for being hooked up , I get exposure , that's the payoff. I don't like looking like a forum pimp. The he said she said suspension and traction bar crap that you have been so much a part of , is exactly what I want nothing to do with.

To the op- hopefully you've gotten the info you needed.

We had to buy it from Dave, until people order them, they are ours ;)

What would be the advantages of running these bars over Cal-tracs. I had a spare set of Cal-tracs so I installed them but I've heard good things about ouo bars with a block mount

Caltracs store all of the energy in the spring then release it as soon as the power let's off like during a shift they don't work at all during breaking and they don't work it all when you're trying to back up a trailer
After watching them on the dyno or at the track this would be my last choice in traction device..

One Up bars work 100% of the time, 100% of the time.
