Caltracs store all of the energy in the spring then release it as soon as the power let's off like during a shift they don't work at all during breaking and they don't work it all when you're trying to back up a trailer
After watching them on the dyno or at the track this would be my last choice in traction device..

One Up bars work 100% of the time, 100% of the time.

I just looked up a video I see what you mean as soon as you let off the gas the whole rear rotates. Wish I never installed them.

Is there anything being done to recenter the rear axle? On my '12 F350 (rear suspension is stock other than shocks) it's visually offset towards the rear of the truck (looking at the fender well.)

I've seen other '11+ trucks and all look the same so it's not just me.

If I'm not mistaking you can correct that with the ouo traction blocks. They come with a pin kit to move your axle forward or backwards. Maybe Jared can correct me if I'm wrong

Exactly, Nate and I were just speaking about this. The universal pin kit goes in the traction block and allows to recently and move the axle. Also, they are tapered if needed to help adjust got incorrect driveline pinion angle. If you already have the bolt on bars, we sell the OUO lift block with the same technology incorporated into it as the traction block itself

I run mine one pin forward to recenter the axle in the wheel well. With the stock blocks my wheels were pushed towards the rear too.
These are 5" traction blocks with the long gusset bars

Got my OUO bars in I had one question before I install them, maybe someone with experience can help me out.

When mounting the frame bracket has anyone drilled and tapped the frame with any problems? I run a titan tank and the bolts on the drivers would be behind the tank. I plan on bolting the passenger side.

I believe if I am not mistaken that in the instructions it says you can do that if you are not able to get to the nuts. Flip through the instructions and see if it talks about it.

I believe your right Nick. Also I've seen where guys have welded the mounts to the frame in tight situations

I do see it in the instructions, just wanted to see if anybody had a problems with the drill and tap method. I thought about welding it but the powder coat finish is far to nice.

Thanks Guys

You can tap them. That's how the f150 mounts are done since the have boxed frames
