But with a e99 by time you get a 1.15 housing you might as well get a t4 s366 and mount. Same amount of cash....

Correct, but your getting twice or more the mounting kit, plus a much better turbo set up...

Plus you can sell your old stuff and recoup about 1/3 of the cost.

I agree with this, selling the old stuff helps out alot.


But, i got A LOT more than 1/3 for my old stuff! lol.

If you look down in the classifieds, you can find the used stuff to convert over to the late stuff pretty cheap, than a 38R is an option. But if you go that route, you will still be close to the price of an H2E with the mount kit. The 38R is maxed out, the H2E gives you a hundred or so options to go up from there.

When I did my turbo, I called Bob at Dieselsite planning on buying a 38R. He talked me into a H2E, glad he did.

Well ya, but you sold a 38R and Late 99 stuff...LOL

The OP has a E99, which some of the OBS guys want the Y, but other then that its a limited market.
