Vision diesel shop truck (picture heavy)

We wanted to share with you guys what we have been working on over the last few months. Hoping to get out there and compete a bit in the northwest as time allows!

This started as 2003 f350 work truck with a 6.0 powerstroke that we got locally. Unfortunately we didn't take very good "before" pictures but we have a couple. They are not in any order, but you get the point of what it originally looked like

After we pulled the cab

The mess!

The classy 03 work truck front end!

After we had the frame stripped to be sent off for powder coating

The original leaf pack from the rear end

After we got the frame back from PC and the axle cleaned up and painted. These are excursion springs with no block.

Some shots of the great work by One Up Offroad on the suspension. The traction bar kit is their "race" product, as you can see there is a bit less ground clearance to allow for better control of the axle.

The OUO coil buckets and swayaway coilovers. The fully adjustable ride height is fantastic with this kit, very simple to use!

Next we got the engine and transmission put back in the frame. The transmission is a competition built 4r100 from John Woods with an output shaft designed for the 5r110 transfer case. We are controlling this transmission with a USshift controller at the moment.

Extreme head studs and factory gaskets

IMG953142_zpsezod3s4e.jpg

We had the heads o-ringed just in case!

20150409_103836_zpsthykbrqn.jpg

Next the heads were installed with RCD Valve springs and pushrods and a brand new Motorcraft injectors that were built into 175/30 by Rykan @ Holders Diesel. You can see the BD Diesel exhaust manifolds that went on it as well!

We decided on DieselSites High Output Adrenaline pump for our oil supply

IMG_20150318_141256_zpsxgw94d66.jpg

A Barder Stage 3, MBRP's heavy duty up-pipes, Absolute Performances EGR Delete, with a 58v FICM. And although you can't really see it there is also a ported intake manifold from Holders Diesel as well under there.

IMG953158_zpsg4mzmybg.jpg

The fuel system is a few different kits with our own spin on them. Sinister and Irate supplied the pump, filters, and regulator.

20150304_173944_zpsucasfe3o.jpg

Up next was the rear axle. We choose a Yukon Grizzly locker, schaeffers fluid, and Bilstein 5100 shocks to help put the power to the ground. A mag-hytec pan certainly doesn't hurt either!

20150511_111653_zpscibppw0c.jpg

IMG953144_zps6lhqo8uy.jpg

Although we have no good photos of it currently the front end got a mag-hytec cover, all brand new motorcraft steering/bearings/u-joints/brakes. The rotors/calipers/pads were brand new all the way around along with all brake lines. We decided to one steering component that was not Ford Motorcraft and that is the red head steering box

Under the hood we have the No Limit catalog all polished, our aluminum degas bottle, and mishimoto's new coolant filter setup.

The remaining pictures are 95% of the final product. Although we have not got the windows tinted or the back window's wrap installed, it is very close. We will update pictures as they come in.
As you can see we updated the front end with all 05-07 parts, got it wrapped, and went with a Moto Metal 962 wrapped with a 305/50/R20 Nitto 420s
The stack is a 7" MBRP smoker kit

You were spot on!

Please also pay close attention to the integrated tow hook and driveshaft loop. Both of these come standard on the OUO coil over/ adjustable ride height kits.

Nice Derek I would honestly not change anything about it such a nice job and nice products all the way around. With that 68mm you could use some more fuel let me know if you want some more I will take care of it.

It could absolutely use more fuel, but our goal is to push these 30s to the absolute max and just enjoy it for a couple of months. We are going to lose the 68 eventually and go full T4 with a nice GTX or FMW s300 charger, then it will be big injector time after that!
Nice work!
Thanks Garret!

Nice those 30's can flow a little more than the 175cc let me know if you want to push them a little harder and will make it happen.

I thought you guys made your own VGT turbos? Either way, slick setup. That suspension work is impressive! Who's tuning will you be running?

I forgot to mention but we are tuning the transmission ourselves and the engine is being tuned currently by Mr. Larz from Gearhead. First try was pretty much spot on for daily driving this thing, its a pretty standardized setup though.

We do have our own designs on turbos and have in the past built many of them, but unfortunately finding a shop local enough to do the balancing and machining was more difficult than it sounds. Both Barder and KC make great turbos so we have been outsourcing to them to build our stuff for the last few months until we can get something happening locally again.

I wish I could take all the credit. The guys in the shop really killed it! Curtis, Nick, Josh, and Jesse were all huge parts in getting this guy together. It was a group effort and probably the main reason it was even able to happen!

Rog. Well, that thing's gonna be a screamer. Looking forward to how it performs! Great job!

Def need more fuel. Don't waste your time on a s300 series...smallest turbo I'd put on that truck is 467.7FMW .90 exhaust.
