Thats the plan. New batteries are in. Just waiting on the pcm from lkq. Will i have to have it flashed by ford? Someone said it may need done.

This is.still going? I told him exactly how to fix his issues in a pm when this thread was.new. We're still ***kin around about whats wrong? You need a pcm, you need batteries, and that is all you need before trying to diagnose anything else.

And i ordered a pcm and batteries and made new cables at work. I was simply asking what could be causing the acel. Pedal not to work. And if i had to have the pcm flashed. And the thread wasnt new when you sent me the pm. I opened the thread in october.

Ok so the pcm should be here monday according to the tracking.

Im looking to purchase AE. I have been reading about it on their website. My question is, should i also purchase the ford expansion pack? Or just get the AE software by its self?

It wont. Kind of sweet has a obdII port on it. And it connects to my cheap advance auto scanner.

It looks just like a honda drive train. Be sweet to swap in a b18 and have vtec

I'm not gonna be a smarta$$ but did you read the description of the the expansion pack or anything of it working for a powerstroke. It specifically says it.

I bought the expansion pack when I bought AE and now it doesn't work anymore. Not sure why and working 72-84+ hrs a week hasn't left me much time to find out. AE is great when it works and a great way to run the battery on my laptop down when it doesn't.

Never had a problem with my AE. Yes you need the Ford Expansion pack. By it from Dennis at Strictly Diesel. You will never be disapointed.

The original laptop it was on crapped the bed and it always comes up with generic "truck weighs too much" and won't let me do anything. I've tried every connection mode possible.
