Picked up a new trailer in Wisconsin, a 79' crew cab and a ditch mower in Indiana last weekend.

Yeah that's fairly close. Did you buy it with the 5.9 still in it? I stopped and looked at it about a month ago. It was a little too rough for me. Hopefully you can bring it back to life. It's an awesome truck with a lot of potential!

Yeah, got it with the 12v and trans in it. I was actually rather impressed at what good shape it was in. Just a little rust on the top of the cab, a few other small spots, very good shape for the year compared to others I've seen.

Made it 30 miles before blowing out the first trailer tire then another 11 before the second and getting to the closest shop and having to put on all 14 plys to make the 3 hours home. We didn't think the tractor was near as heavy as it was.

I think 4 gladiator tires and 4 are something else they didn't have a matched set of 8. Couldn't get down the road w/o them. They are 14 ply 100 psi tires though

Gladiators should be 125 psi. If i remember correctly q35s are steel belted and q25s are not.
The non belted ones tend to start losing large chunks of rubber. Something to keep an eye on.
