Picked up this gem today. 1939 Catepillar D2. Paid $200 for it non-running and sitting in a foot of frozen mud. Yanked it out of the hole with the D-5 and had it running to load onto the trailer.
Close to 10k with the blade and aux hydraulic box.

Got stuck on the way out and had to use the D-5 to push us out.

1939...is that one of the ones you have to start the auxillary motor to start the main diesel motor?

Yessir. It has a 3.6L diesel started by a pony motor. Kind of a weird feeling starting a bulldozer with a pull-start.
The previous owner stalled it a couple months ago and couldn't get the pony motor to re-engage.
Pony motor fired right up today, and within 30 minutes of tinkering we had the pony motor engaged. Another 10 minutes of fidgeting with the decompression valve and it was running on the main engine.
He was a little upset we were able to drive it onto the trailer.

Hauled this little tractor for a buddy. I think our trailer was a bit overkill.

I dunno, my Kubota is probably pushing 1500lbs. lol. I have never seen a cab like that or a blower that big on a Kubota that size. Looks like a nice setup. Is it a B7100?
