I went outside to " the truck won't start" and without thinking checked fuses and relays.
Removed 4 year old autozone starter that was getting slow anyway and replaced with warranty unit. Still no start after beating my head against a wall for like two hours with no power on the small wire I had an epiphany wiggled the shifter and fired ole girl right up.
Moral of this story is when someone else drives last you gotta check the ridiculous stupid crap first . Lesson learned stepdaughter doesn't drive Dually anymore

Vince why did you pull the heads with the motor still in the truck? Figured it would be much easier with it on a stand.

Filled it up with fuel and bought an injector to change tomorrow. Hopefully that clears up my cold start rough idle....

Picked up a forged rod motor for my 450 today. Herd it running and they pulled it for me and it only cost 600 bucks complete from turbo to oil pan with all the accessory still on it
