Anyone done it?? I've been searching for hours and all i come up with is really lowered trucks or leveled trucks. What I'm looking to do is Remove all blocks from the back of the shops 96 Single cab and replace front and rear axles with 2000 axles. Not looking to lower/lower it just let it sit where it is now minus the added height from the rear 1.5-2" block. Street truck is all its used for. It has 285/70/16s which are 32/11.2/16 and 305/50/20s come out to be 32/12/20 but i'm curious if the -44 offset will cause it to rub. I know my 96 dually with semi tires on 05 running gear misses the back part of the fender by .5" however those are 36.5" tires and unknown offset because its a dually??:shrug: Anyone done this or have pictures i can't find?? I think it'll look good as a street truck:ford:

Leveling kit in the front. And thats Jesses head peaking out behind the creeper lol

Leveling kit removed and Air Bags installed. The "leveling kit" made the truck sit goofy bull dog so when i towed trailers it looked like my rear springs hated life lol

This is the $1500 shop truck for the wheels and tires. This is the day after we picked it up from Ft Myers. Told it had a blown trans ended up being $35 shift fork! Rear block is removed and 5" exhaust is on it now!

The plan is Jesse is being kind and giving up his 2000 D60 and rear axle for a trade to 05 running gear with 35K on them and his old axles will find home in the single cab! No lift will be put on the truck as I wanted to build a "street" OBS! << I'm sure I'll be hearing an ear full of how its stupid. However no one seems to to it, I see ground scraping lowered trucks or cloud driving trucks.....no in between lol. We'll be SURE to post pics of the process this weekend!
