I dont have a forescan, but maybe should get one.? When it was in the shop a couple weeks ago, no codes had presented themselves at that point.

Assuming on these newer trucks, just removing batter terminals and letting it sit for a half hour, gets the job done?

I would most definitely purchase FORScan...full license is only $15 / year and reader is free. Other cost is for OBD2 adapter for either phone or laptop. It is a very comprehensive program.
Sometimes disconnecting power works (battery), sometimes not.
