I have a new set of rear 5" lift springs and traction bar kit.it calls for adding a bolt to the factory block to extend the centering pin. My truck has the 1.75" block. I purchased extra blocks to get everything ready but they are the 2.25" blocks.

So I guess my question is should I try and find the smaller blocks or run the slightly taller blocks

not sure what truck you are working on or what the question is?

block height has nothing to do with whether you need to extend the centering pin or not.

both factory blocks require you to extend the pin when using the procomp braket kit.
I guess I should have been more clear. my truck has a 6" lift. I know when I first add the full leaf pack in the rear its going to ride a little high until they settle.then add the thickness of the bracket and the slighty taller block adds up.
