Jasper long block

Anyone heard of or used a Jasper reman 6.0L, need opinions please.

Lost a cylinder

The shop that tested it used a computer to do it, it showed a bar graph and from what he was told it was 33% lower than the other cylinders. The truck is running rough and will barely idle. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, the truck is very well taken care of and not flogged on at all, the...

Lost a cylinder

My buddy has an 06 that lost #8 cylinder, the truck has 56K miles. He had a slight miss for about a week which ended up being the injector. Now he's trying to decide what to do, buy a short block, long block or have his engine pulled down and have that cylinder sleeved and put in a new piston...

Stock 7.3l boost

Those numbers are about right for a stock truck without a chip or programmer.

???OIL???

I've ran Valvoline Premium blue for years and have had excellent luck with it. I go 5,000 mi between oil changes too.

Boost PSI when cold

You need to check for boost leaks. I would pull the intercooler boots off and clean them then re-install with hairspray.

Engine oil temp ranges??

Tom, I pulled my 30' camp trailer up Malad pass in Idaho and my EOT stayed a consistent 15* to 20* hotter than my ECT. Those readings are with my AutoMeters.

Why Does a Wicked Wheel......

I lost like 1 psi of boost with mine, no big deal. I also run the ported shroud compressor housing.

Maybe the heat is higher after it leaves the HPOP and the injectors, due to the high pressures.
