Correct Coolant
My only slight issue here is I don't think Cat has any aluminum pieces like we do, alum heads, front/rear covers. Big thing is being able to cope with several different metals in the same cooling system.- DEEZUZ

I'm about to service the SHO and I think I'm going with the new Motorcraft yellow(green). SHO has orange and I'm not doing a hardcore flush, just drain and refill with distilled water a few times.- DEEZUZ

After all these years I finally decided that powerstrokes do not beat up the oil like we all thought. We all thought oh man it sees 4k psi the oils going to be nasty... And in reality it's absolutely fine. Cheap oil, expensive oil run what ya want just change it when needed. The only problem I... -

I don't like relative compression tests I've found them useful to find a completely dead cylinder and that's about it. Buuuut.. I'd be cutting the oil filter open first before pulling VC and checking for metal -

Connectors are like $30 each and take about 10 mins for each plug to change over. AP0018/19/20 are the connectors out of alliant power catalog
