Sure the Swamps CR7.3 sounded good, but it didn't last long in competition. 1 year I think before the only running one changed directions I think.... Yes - use the Duramax computer. The 32 valve head I have designed works with LBZ style Duramax injectors, but it could work with mechanical injection as well. It was ALL of the ICP. lol Less than the design target, but more than being run today in trucks. The nice thing was with the heavy poppet spring it made it really controllable - the base ICP had to be jacked up ALOT with the stock solenoid to even get the injectors to fire, and that allowed...- Hotrodtractor

You're missing the point. With a fast enough injection event you don't run up into the duty cycle of the IDM. Make the injection even short enough and its a non-issue.- Hotrodtractor

I'd have to go back and look at my notes. I believe those were 400% tips and not the big custom drilled tips that we had for a while.... just not enough meat between the holes and they kept cracking - there is an off the shelf solution for that too, but it wasn't pursued - it really needs to be...- Hotrodtractor

Not really - the parts are all complete with the exception of my custom solenoids. Going from memory we were at 430cc of fuel in 2.5ms on the bench I think...... or something close to that.- Hotrodtractor

Yes it would require removal of the stock fuel bowl. Returning oil to the pan vs the reservoir..... there are issues on both sides of that fence..... I always returned to the pan. Do as you wish. Somewhere I made a CAD file that turned this block into a reservoir spacer and conveniently dumped the oil down the gears in the front cover. I never made a physical part in that rendition though. I'm not even 100% sure I finished the entire model.- Hotrodtractor

B codes vs hybrids
It all depends on what the goals for the build are and how it will be used. All out horsepower and higher RPMs - hybrids. All the torque and lower RPMs - B codes. The reality that is somewhere in between the two above points requires a lot more information and a whole lot more guestimation...- Hotrodtractor

Well - I think the HEUI white papers I've collected were on a hard drive that died a few years ago..... I can't seem to locate them anywhere so that must have been where they were.
