    06 ebp normal readings

That’s not too bad, what is vgt % towards the end of the pull? But not after you let out. Also, does this truck still have a cat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    06 ebp normal readings

Probably. The sct reads ebp, you just have yo know how to decipher it properly. If it’s in psi, I want to say something like 60 or 80 is basically atmospheric. If you can hook the scan gauge up and get some real ebp readings, it will be a lot easier for a few of us to help you. Sent from my...

    06 ebp normal readings

Unfortunately I can’t help you with the sct ebp readings. I e been told what they’re supposed to be a couple times, and the numbers don’t make sense to me and I forget them. You do need to remember though that the factory map sensor will only read 29psi of boost. That’s where it maxes out. If...

    F-250 to F-550

S110s were in the 450s, I believe the 550s got the 130s. Same basic thing, just bigger. And a massive bitch to work on. Think of a 9 inch on steroids. The third member weighs 200ish pounds…. And make sure you’ve got some ass behind you, pinion nut torques to something like 450-600 lb/ft. Even...

    F-250 to F-550

6.4 is a 6.4. The 550 rear ends are huge, it’s gonna be more expensive to swap gears like you were saying over a 250/350. I’m not 100% sure if you’ll be able to find 3.73s for the big Dana. The 550s run the s130 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    F-250 to F-550

You may be thinking the 11-14 6.7, where the chassis cabs didn’t have the dual boost turbo or whatever ford called it, just a standard vgt. They were detuned from the pickups as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    F-250 to F-550

They’re still compounds on the 550s…. Don’t think they’re detuned either. Worked on tons of forest service trucks, have yet to see a single turbo one…. The bed would be an issue, either flat bed or service bed would be easiest, putting a normal pickup bed on it would be pretty difficult...

    6.4L with a hiccup misfire

Could be the frp sensor, we’ve fought it on our 6.4 test truck. It gets a rolling miss at idle seems to go thru the firing order and then start over again. It will clean up for ten seconds or so randomly, and then start again. Changing the frp made it much better, but there is still something in...

Irregular idle revving up and down VIDEO & Update!

Engine idle is controlled by cps, app, icp, so in turn ipr, eot, and the idm, probably map as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    04 ex w/low hpop pressure

Yeah, the oil reservoir is full psi, we put a bpd race plate on our race truck, there is a port for oil psi in, oil psi coming out of the oil pump, turbo feed, aux feed, which we were told we can also feed the engine thru the aux port, as we’re running a dual external oil pump setup, and no oil...

Irregular idle revving up and down VIDEO & Update!

If wiggling the icp messed with it, I’d guess you’ve got a 5v issue. Wiggle the harness around the icp, see what happens. Your 5v sensors are icp, ebp, map, baro, cam sensor, and app. It will run with everything unplugged, except for the cam sensor. Chase these sensors, particularly the ebp...

    04 ex w/low hpop pressure

We’ve used mahle head gaskets a bunch, they seem to hold up. Granted the fact they took your extra cash for oe gaskets and left you with mahle is the bigger problem. Easy way to tell if they’re 6.0 or 6.4 would be if it’s got 18 or 20mm dowels, your 04 should have 18s, 6.4s would have 20s. The...

Figure out the cam sensor code, that will do all sorts of goofy shit. These trucks are old as hell now, could be frayed wires at the cam sensor, or a cam sensor. That 1211 code could be causing issues as well. Check fuel pressure, typically the culprit for that code. Sent from my iPhone using...

    Lighting an old flame

I would do 625s, have still seen issues with the 425s at higher boost levels, seems 625s and o rings, and it’ll hold 50-60psi for quite a long time. The billet rocker setup is more for rpm than power. If you’re gonna regularly see over 5k ,ala race truck, then get them. If you’re gonna keep it...
