    Rail pressure surge.

    Surge is back but it was never really gone. After resetting the adaptive fuel tables it will subside for a while but then it comes back. When I get time i am going to pull the front mounted pump and run it with a single pump to try and narrow it down.

    Do these look right. D & E look ok but while driving they do differentiate somewhat. The top one concerns me the most as its all jagged all the time except for zero pedal.     Hpfp leak.

    Turns out the o ring gasket between the transfer pump on the back of the pump was leaking. I repaired the gasket as best I could and put it back together and it seems to be holding.

    It’s the same pump I have been running for 6 years. I bought it as a reman and it has been reverse flowed since day one. It has around 40,000 miles on it.

    Anyone ever have a hpfp leak from the case? Not the shaft seal or feed and returns. This is my front mounted belt driven pump for my duel fueler. Where is it even possible to leak?

    CP4 High pressure pump disaster prevention kit

    I'm pretty sure one of the guys on here pulled the vcv or whatever is on the rail on a brand new truck and there was rust on it. I could be wrong though as it was awhile a go.
