    Modded box makes a huge difference. I think i could suck my minder in a half throttle. Pulled the lid off and left the filter in my version of modded box and it doesn't move. Not sure how old the filter is either.

    I heard once that if you pulled them they needed to be replaced. I've always used locktite and they've been fine though.

    I had a one that the yoke had to be bolted to the flange in one certain position otherwise it would vibrate. But that was flange mount yokes on each end instead of a slip. Not sure if you could try putting it on the splines in different positions or not. Or that flange on the axle side.

    I thought I had read somewhere before that the no limit CAC would accept more heat than the radiator for it could disipate. Not sure if that's worded correctly.

    I have a 2008 6.4 that I'm thinking may need new valvetrain soon. And beings I live in CA I need to pass emissions testing from time to time. I've been looking at the straub cam beings it appears to get somewhat better fuel mileage, but would consider others. The question is, how will they...

    Did you get the donaldson muffler in backwards? They, or at least the 5", have a funny whistle if its in backwards.

    I agree that you don't really need hydroboost to do the conversion. Do need the f-superduty proportion valve ****** or gut your old one though. My opinion on it is that even on the newer pickup not all of them have hydroboost.

    The Problem I would see, is correcting the camber. I believe that's why it's not talked about.

    Total different motor but when I took my Honda head to get checked all the intake valves were bent some. but only one cylinder was bad enough to notice any compression loss. They told me that the valve will flex just a bit and still seal but eventually the flexing can cause it to break.

    I have a motor from a person that was having problems with mixing also. He just drained the coolant and ran oil.
