    03 6.0 injector replacement

I don't believe that 2 gallons of gas would cause an issue. I just usually think of water when I hear of a cracked injector tip (and I suppose it could just be age related, but I don't think that is common). Another possibility might be low fuel pressure. For cost management reasons...

6.0 Fuel pressure question causing no start?

In addition to the above advice, you really can not depend on the reported ICP pressure. Sometimes that is an "inferred" value. You MUST watch the ICP sensor volts. If the PCM thinks that there is something wrong with the ICP sensor, then it will ignore the sensor output. This can happen...

    03 6.0 injector replacement

Alliant now has a distribution partnership with Pure Power. They sell the new ones made by Pure Power (who was always the original manufacturer and re-manufacturer - formed in 1999 as a joint venture between Navistar and Siemens). Alliant also sells re-manufactured injectors by Pure Power- so...

    6.0 Starting Issue

Troubleshooting CMP: first check the sensor connector for oil - a broken o-ring can cause an oil leak into the electrical connector. To check the sensor: You can check the red wire (pin 31 ) and the orange wire (at pin 43) at the PCM center connector (C1381c). Using a multimeter that reads...

When the sensor was replaced, was there rust on the block surface where that sensor is tightened up against?

    6.0 Starting Issue

If you are getting a steady rpm signal, then the cam sensor or its wiring could be causing the intermittent SYNC. You could have rust on the block that is pushing the cam sensor too far away from its target, or it could be wiring related, or even a bad cam sensor. I have some resources for...

    6.0 Starting Issue

As @6.0 Tech asked - do all injectors pass the buzz test (especially #3 and #6)? It could be the injectors.

    Need help with run issue

FYI - In 2005, a trap was added to the fuel supply line to prevent fuel from draining out of the secondary fuel filter housing. This fuel line cannot be retrofitted to earlier MY's. That tells me that fuel draining out of the bowl in an '04 probably isn't an issue.

    Need help

We could help if you answered the questions that were asked of you. You also need to get a scan tool. The best one is ForScan Lite ($6 download to a smartphone and a $35 OBDII connector). That would be nice if someone were close to you, but assuming that doesn't happen, you MUST provide us...

Help 03 6.0L runs fine till warm then dies, wont start again till cold

Hopefully the parts thrown in were good ones. Often times when repairs are "shotgunned" some good quality parts are replaced with cheap (unreliable) aftermarket ones. This really makes it hard to troubleshoot!

    Need help

Good post @6.0 Tech He has an 06 (stated that on the other forum), so an 03 (or early 04) glow plug could cause big problems. Hopefully he still has the packaging for the plugs that were installed so he can post a part number for those installed glow plugs...

Record the sound and post on YouTube in a video. Post a link to that video on this forum. Did you remove the belt and try cranking as was suggested on the other forum?
