    ...orrrrrrrr just turn the chip down a click definitely not a high power combo...but for anything short of long, WOT runs in a race tune...there'd be zero issue with backpressure.

    ..that surface finish looks super coarse. Did the machinist know you are (assuming you are?) using MLS gaskets? mulit layer stainless gaskets call for an Ra value of 30 or finer...your finish looks to be in the 50-60+ range..perfect for a graphite composite gasket.

    Boost referencing fuel pressure regulator

    fuel pressure merely refills the injectors when they are not firing, and has zero impact on the volume injected*. *assuming the fuel pump is able to maintain 70ish psi in any tune, any rpm, and @ boost.

    did the cups you used come in individually wrapped Motorcraft bags? seen some places advertise they are selling Motorcraft cups (and other parts), but they aren't actually shipping FoMoCo parts.

    ugh... those blackened injectors were not seated properly. you may not have a cracked block...just need someone to install the injectors and cups correctly, and reevaluate.

    it would, unless there were a number of very unlikely issues compounding, failed cup + misinstalled injector....plus unseated, uncrushed copper washer... it's the block. he can try barring the engine over (moving pistons up/down in the bores) to see if the coolant quits coming out the GP...

    no luck with their exh manifolds here... an employee put one on his 2002 model...cracked same day.. had it warrantied...reinstalled...cracked same day... Motorcraft installed and running fine for months now.

    Of course. But the injector or valve guide would show up on a compression test. And if someone didn't notice a loose glow plug when removing it for a compression test... A hole in the side of the block, cylinder head bolted on with one bolt, etc... would also result in poor compression...

    those 'peak' ICP values don't really tell anyone much... ie, if you're IN the pedal hard...and then SHIFT...you'll spike the ICP pressure. you need to monitor what the SUSTAINED ICP is able to hold during a long run from 60-90mph in your hottest tune...(that tune will command the longest...

    The forged aluminum pistons are intended for RACE or COMPETITION applications only.. unlike the normal Mahle (cast) pistons...the forged pistons do not have a steel (top) ring land insert.... without the steel insert, the forged alum pistons will generally need to be replaced before 50k...

    did you perform a compression test on the cylinders prior to pulling it apart?? the cylinder bores don't look like they've ever been bored or honed to me... I've seen 250k mile engines with dusted engines, & lowwwww compression that had good looking cross hatch...just piston to bore clearance...

    my 2000 model has the passenger seat shake as well...not so much in the steering wheel. got muccccch better with newer tires...and multiple balancing(s)...and rotations..moving side to side helped 50%...but still there...enough to be bothersome. just no time to squeeze it into the shop to have...
