put clear vinyl on the paint prior to installing anything. Its thin, invisible and works. Anything you mount to the accessory will vibrate and wear thru to the metal.

Your bad experience with a locker will be erased with a truetrac. Acts normal unless throttle is applied. Locks the same was every time. Pavement friendly etc.
