    Should have added, fuel bowl heater is underhood Maxi fuse #22, 30A. If it's popped, disconnect fuel bowl heater wire then replace fuse.

    Wow, never thought I'd be contributing to a 6.4 thread. I think its a SD thing. My E99 does it, my dads 01 does it, and my buddies 2000 did it. Passenger side, cold weather, cross wind. If anybody figures out how to fix it let me know. Driving back and forth to WY last year I about went crazy.

    The OBS has a regulated return. The SD is a dead head. That's why there are several regulated return kits on the market for the SD. If you want to upgrade your fuel system to a SD electric pump, you may as well just build a fuel system with better fuel lines than the tiny copper lines you have...
