96 cranks no start

A quality one which can pull the Ford Enhanced PIDs. The cheaper, lower end scan tools normally cannot do much on the 7.3L.

Do you plan on modding the truck much? Whatever product you choose, look into some quality tunes. For instance, the generic TS tunes are very outdated and do not perform exceptionally well on any rig. We can reburn TS chips with our custom tunes, or we can get you custom tunes for the SCT...

The FSSB turbo is a different animal than the drop in KC turbo. The drop in turbo will work perfect with the 160/30's, but you will see much better results running the FSSB with the 180/100 injectors. The FSSB is very similar to the Borg Warner S364.5 SXE turbo we carry as well. It just has some...

I would do a set of 160/30 injectors if you plan on sticking with the stock turbo or a drop in replacement of some sort. Anything more than that injector, and you will need to go a different turbo route. 160/30 injectors will put you very close to 400HP. You will still be able to daily drive...

Burning oil/ oil in fuel

You may still be seeing the effects of the bad o-rings you replaced. Once oil is in the fuel, it will contaminate the whole tank of fuel you have. How many miles has it been since you did the o-rings? It is also possible that the injectors have an internal issue letting oil get into the fuel...

AB to AD Injectors

As 04stroker said, they will work just fine. The truck may be a little smokier without the correct AD tuning, but the truck will run fine.

Oh okay. Yes, if the tunes are that old you may not have the defuel disabled. You can send the chip in for a reburn to get the latest tunes if you would like. Yes, the defuel is very noticable, especially at WOT on a track. Can only imagine what went through her head when it happened :wtf: LOL

OBS defuel?

In a stock tune, yes it will defuel at around 24psi. In an aftermarket tune it may not. Depends on the tuner. We eliminate the defueling from overboost.

As stated, pulling any chip off the PCM will put you back to the PCM calibration. Chips just override the PCM, so any time one is removed it does not leave any footprint.

Good point here. I run the 38R myself, but only because I have to pass smog (visual check) here in CA. After a set of bellowed up-pipes and a 38R, you are somewhat close to what you can get a T4 setup for. For E99 or OBS guys, the T4 route is a no brainer if they ever plan on any injectors...

Need some advise on Smog in california.

It is a good kit. You will like it. If you are in a really dusty environment, I recommend getting the dry (paper) filter. Otherwise the oiled (cotton) filter is good.
