There is a special socket you can buy and get the ipr out pretty easy. -

I did look at my IPR numbers yesterday afternoon and forget what I post. My numbers were close to yours. :stupid: -

Your first screen shot is approx. 1500 rpm and your IPR is only 28.9%, I'm not a mechanic but that seems odd. IPR screen could be clogged since the trucks been worked on. -

I'd deret it, weld shut the egr and get a tune on it to fix the cel. You would pass a visual inspection this way. -

Just drive it, I would think the hotter you can get the exhaust temps the quicker it would remove the residue. If in fact that's what's causing your smoking. -

I bet its burning oil the that was left in the exhaust from the bad turbo. -

Running and idle issue.
Did you replace the bad batteries when you replaced the FICM? What's you're alternator voltage while your running. Weak batteries or a bad alternator can cause havoc with these trucks. -
Oil cooler OEM how do you know if you have the updated version?
This is getting interesting. Sub'ed for future info. -
