Your first screen shot is approx. 1500 rpm and your IPR is only 28.9%, I'm not a mechanic but that seems odd. IPR screen could be clogged since the trucks been worked on.
Just drive it, I would think the hotter you can get the exhaust temps the quicker it would remove the residue. If in fact that's what's causing your smoking.
Did you replace the bad batteries when you replaced the FICM? What's you're alternator voltage while your running. Weak batteries or a bad alternator can cause havoc with these trucks.
