2011+ Leaf spring help needed
I drove a 2wd 6 speed for over 100,000 miles without a working one, because rust belt. My 13 hasn't had one in since I changed the rear brakes. After an hour of beating on the rotor, I remembered the shoes were inside. Needless to say, the friction material fell off both sides.- PDT1081

Sequential led mirror marker light issue
Does it affect your other turn signals? When I was having problems (pretty sure bulb adapter went bad) the BCM sensed a problem and shut off my front turn signal. I think it would do a single blink, then hyper-flash the rear despite having resistors. Not sure how the mirror lights are connected in. -

That's what I ended up needing, yes. Giant pain in the ass when one part of that system went bad, so I pulled it all out and went back to regular bulbs. I've been thinking about trying again with some zener diodes and the Profile bulbs, but have other projects to get to first. -

There's most likely stray voltage on the turn signal circuit. Same reason switchbacks won't work in your turn signals. Neither will Profile 3157 turn signal bulbs. VLeds sells a relay kit that works with their turn signal bulbs to fix the issue. -
How folks liking the 10 speed 6.7's?
FWIW, you can do the same with the 6R140. You just have fewer gears to select from. Everything else, I agree with. My 13 has the 3:31 rear option. Not ideal at all for towing.- PDT1081

Removing moving restrictions
Check into the camera settings. Our 20 Explorer has a "camera delay" option when switching from reverse to drive. As long as you stay under a certain speed, the camera stays on.- PDT1081

Washing Under Hood
I did look under the hood on Friday. I couldn't see it anywhere. Fan still looked good. -

99% sure it was. We've been having a couple show up randomly. One less now. Started stinking bad today. Went to the car wash and sprayed what I could without opening the hood. Will probably need to use the garden hose tomorrow. -

The "flutter" is most likely the turbo surging. And yes, that can/will destroy a turbo. -

TorquePro with an MXOBDLink adapter is what I use. You can also use Forscan with that adapter. Those will be less expensive than the Edge. That adapter is around $100. Forscan is free and TorquePro is like $6.
